The curious history of Baltimore stretches back to the mid seventeenth century, when the first towns with the name were founded along the Chesapeake Bay as ports. The main shopping area in Baltimore around the centre of the city is excellent and most of the big name stores that you would expect including Bloomingdales are represented in the city.
